If you want a longboard design with less emphasis on noseriding and more on overall performance, then the Torpedo might be what you’re looking for. Created for South Coast team rider Chris Koerner by Robin Prodanovich this proven design includes a medium width nose, plenty of center width, and a very controllable tail made possible by an “up” wing, stinger type plan line, and swallow tail. The bottom curve focuses on medium nose and tail rocker with a double concave starting just ahead of the side fins and fades into a soft “v” off the tail. This design is currently available with a tri-fin, however, it can be custom ordered with a fin configuration of a 2+1, or the P-5 option allowing quad performance.
